Nothing anymore...

Bladestorm and monofilament gain pseudo rending on a to wound roll of 6 and sniper rifles still rend on a 6 to wound.

It's not true rending in that it only triggers on wound rolls, not against AV

I would cackle with glee if Warp Spiders got AP1 on penetrate rolls of 6 against vehicles.

I think what you were thinking of Chris, was the previous codex where Pathfinders had Ap2 on to-hit rolls of 5&6, and on to-wound rolls of 6. Pathfinders were ridiculous. I think they had a good 7-8 special rules.

Yeah that was how they were played in thefirst game at the weekend. I had heard in rumours that all eldar were getting rending and so put 2 and 2 together. It makes sense now.

...
Rending dosnt do that. It adds D3 to the pen on a pen roll of 6.

I wasn't talking about rending.

Monofilament weapons, and hence Warp Spiders get AP1 on a to wound roll of 6. Which is very similar to the bladestorm rule of shuriken weaponry.

Phew. Always have to jump in on that one because a lot of people get that one wrong.
