This is a message for everyone.
The number of people who are showing complete disregard for the forum rules regarding double posting lately has risen too far.
2. Keep it Relevant.
Please stay on topic. Personal 1-on-1 chatting should be taken to a Private Message (PM) or e-mail.
If you absolutely need to post an off topic note for some reason, make sure it is clearly identifiable with an [OT] in the subject line. Even better - use the "The Lobby" forum, which has been set up for this exact purpose.
Please do not use "l33t" or text speak of any sort. Members are expected to use proper sentences with punctuation and capital letters. We all appreciate that "Bad English" may be the first language of some posters but from previous experience I've learned that questions to a forum are far more likely to generate a good response if the question has been well thought out and presented.
Please do not "double post" (one of your own messages right after the other one). Instead, use the "edit" function to modify your first post and add to it as necessary.
Please do not use pictures or other graphics in your signature without first seeking permission from the Admin.
You must not spam the list or use meaningless one word or one line replies.
Please don't bump any messages, if no one has replied to the post then clearly the forum members have nothing to add. Having a thread regurgitated artificially is annoying.
Everyone has been warned. I am frankly getting quite sick of editing and merging people's posts who are too stupid or lazy to follow the rules.
From now on - starting today - I will simply be deleting double-posts.
Use the edit feature to add more if your post was the current last in the thread - do not post again. If you fail to do so, you will find the second post removed without notification. Repeat offenders will receive official warnings as per the forum rules.
(If you are running a campaign or "work in progress" thread where you are often updating progress a little while between posts and happen to go immediately after one of your own, that is fine. We will never pull a post like that.)
The forum Admin and Moderators spend a lot of their time running these boards for you guys - so please show your respect by not making the task harder for them than it needs to be.
