SR2015 is finally out. For those who don't know, thus is the yearly tournament pack this game uses. 99% of events use it.

Any differences you can spot? I'm gonna give it a good read tonight.

The terrain is a bit different. Linear obstacles are restricted terrain same as obstructions (can't be placed in scenario areas). Restricted terrain can't be placed within 5" of each other but the limit on unrestricted terrain has gone down to 2". I don't think our boards will end up looking any different, just changes things for walls really.

Minimum 15 second turn time in deathclock, ok. If you would win scenario at the point your clock runs out, you win.

Battlegroup still counts for army points destroyed on assassination. I've been waiting years for them to fix this one, looks like they don't think its a problem.

I still think the Fuel Cache is too strong.

Less scenarios. Good? Dunno. Rolling on the table will be easier though.

So, does that mean someone can just get into a dominant scenario position and then let the clock run? I haven't read the pack yet, but that sounds bad if so.

It would need to get them the full 5 CPs to win, otherwise it would be normal rules for it.

Only if scoring right then and there would win you the game. Like your caster is dominating a zone and you're on 3CP but you run out of time to finish your turn, you score the 2 and win. I think its to stop last second things like when you've got 10 seconds left and you HAVE to resolve frenzying, continuous effects and that sort of thing before you can score again. So big fan of that one.

I think having fuel on tap is going to be degenerate. The impervious flesh one is going to be super common.

So restricted terrain can't go in zones. Does this also apply to models like Janissa?

Sweet. Yeah, that sounds really good and makes scenarios slightly more viable in DC.

Yeah, the Active Duty bench is really interesting.

Take two of the four casters/locks listed and gain access to 20pts of Reinforcements. It's a pretty huge advantage.

Cryx gets:
Gaspy3
Goreshade1
Witch Coven
Scaverous

I feel like you could maybe take Gaspy3 plus either Shade1 or Coven in a reasonable pair.

Circle gets:
Cassius, who is amazing.
Grayle, who is a giant turd.
Kaya2, who is presently very good.
Mohsar, who is apparently a good Bradigus drop.

Legion gets:
Abby1
Bethayne
Lylyth1
Thags1

I'm not sure how viable those would be.

And Convergence, well, all CoC gets is "not Lucant." lol.

I like the way I don't care about the Masters pack, because it's only effecting 2 events I plan on attending this year...

On another note, I think the Fuel Cache is fiiiinnnneee....
