Ive just touched down in sunny canberra and it really is quite nice today. I'm terrible at tournament reports but if anyone is interested I'll try to post some updates.

I was lucky enough to go last year and finished a respectable 15th (of 16). This year i have a much more powerful list (eldar) so the goal is to improve. That means 14th! Honestly though I'm just here to play some games and hang out. Defending my sports trophy from last year would mean a lot too.

If i can I'll try to get some photos but I might just get too distracted.

Game 1 done. Started with a close draw against the tassie bloke with a 9 drop pod list. I gave up first blood, slay the warlord and linebreaker. But i got an objective yay.

Decent start. Was he loaded with melta like in the good old days when people believed in vehicles?
Hold the line and 14th can be yours :D

It was ultramarines with wolves. Ten melta. Six grav. Eight flamer. Six plasma.

Game two was against two skyrays two riptides six broadsides and various other tau guns. Not a good match up. But i had some early success. After he got to start shooting smart missiles into guardians though it all went down hill.

Game three! Against an eldar warlock bikestar. Things were looking grim until a wraithknight killed eldrad and a farseer in a single round of combat. Turn six win by tabling!

Well done! Does that bring you to 1-1-1 at the end of day 1?

Yeah. Out of the running. But still right in the mix.

A few funny facts:
Total number of helldrakes- 0
Total number of nids- 2

Full lists are on the wargamerau site. Mostly eldar and tau. Still lists are fairly varied.

An intense round four against eldar. I lost turn five, drew turn six and won turn seven. We played six so I got the draw. By half a millimeter.

...and its all over. Third eldar in a row. He had more serpents than me and had three falcons instead of my knights.
My guardians just got stuck too far from any targets and I lost by a single point.
