So, with Orange closing off one year and starting another I have decided it is time to try and get organised. This blog is the Diet coke of Blogs. Not as bloggy as his was, or no doubt will be, but at least a little bloggy.

Don't expect prolific updates, but maybe this will help me work on something at all times...

My Goals for 2016.
- Finish my Late War SS (Bolt Action)
- Finish my Desert NZ (Bolt Action)
- start and finish the early war components of my SS (Bolt Action)
- Start and finish my late war Commando Brits (Bolt Action)
- Sort my historic terrain (WW2 and Napoleonics)
- Paint some Napoleonic French (Black Powder)
- Get my IG back up to a functional army (40k)
- Assemble a functional Daemonkin army (40k)
- 40k terrain. So much 40k terrain...
- Malifaux Guild
- Malifaux Von Schill crew
- Malifaux terrain - world works games on foamcore
- Paint the bits of Cygnar I have around
- Frostgrave crew
- Frostgrave scenery
- MERCS should be here shortly - I want to get my board game minis painted, and then work on the tabletop side of it
- I have some random Dwarves sitting around waiting to be painted for Bugmans the board game

Holy moly. That's a bigger list than I thought I had. I might try and prioritise the quick wins, and get some momentum up...

Yikes.

I'll keep this first post updated with stuff as it gets done, or as I add to it thorughout the year.

Yep that's a daunting list! Break it into small pieces and it should be easier... be like the squirrel (if you know the song!)

This Bugman's game intrigues me, what is that?

Thanks chaps. This is actually the first time I have sat down and put together a cohesive list of what is in my games room (although I have left off all the Dark Angels I have as I'm just not sure if I actually want to do the unforgiven...) and it is redonkulously daunting...

Bugmans is a board game produced and sold in Bugmans Bar attached to Warhammer World in Nottingham. It comes with carboard cut out dwarves... but what kind of gamer would I be if I didn't get some dwarf models to use instead. It's by no means a proper board game, but I enjoy it for a bit of fun. I also have created some interesting drinking rules for it... although haven't had the chance to try them yet.

Yes I find its best not to dig to deep in the games room!

That does sound cool though. I've got heaps of dwarfs laying about.

And a modified/converted Stummel (251/9? I think?).

Divide and conquer Mikey! Good to see you've started...

Hope to see you back on the 40k table sometime soon. And the games seem to larger now a days so you need to assess some of those priorities!

Cheers Mate

Well... it's only taken me a whole week.

But I suppose progress is progress.

The guys up front certainly look good. And what's up with the Bugman Dwarfs in the back?

Front right is the repairs pile. The dwarves will be the bugmans pieces. They are there for when I need an un-reality break.

Slowly making progress. Couple of colours down now...

I have to remember... this works for any stuff! Not just my current "projects".

My MERCS recon kickstarter arrived... only about 18 months late... and I got excited.

I should totally start trying to plant easter eggs in each photo... The TARDIS is a salt shaker. We have a matching pepper one too.

Haven't had a chance to play MERCS yet. Recon is the board game, I have the tabletop rule book on it's way. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Have a mate coming round this weekend to try it, all going according to plan.

Update time!! Photobucket finally stopped being a numpty, and uploaded all my photos.

Although with that, I will probably just wait until I get some paint on all the MERCs stuff before I post it.

Here is the beginning of my Lady J crew. One painted Death Marshall from ages ago. Have just started everything else.

These are the current project, will expand them with other Guild stuff. And should have my painted SS in the next couple of days now that Photobucket has joined the party.
