The general intent:
- Tankhunter / Loup Garous to provide covering fire.
- Wulvers / Spec Ops for the mid range game.
- SAS / Uxia to disrupt.
- Foxtrot to place mines and generally hide from the opponent.
- The Metro Camo to try one shotting something important and distract from the Lt by also being camo'd.

Thoughts?

Mmm, feels like it should be taking more advantage of a loup-garou link team. F those guys ;)

I'm trying to get a combined force going soon, will hit you up for a game ;)

I can't link teams unless I select a sectorial. And if I select the sectorial I have to choose either to have Wulvers or Loup Garous. This is my one of staying undecided :D

Ahh!! Makes sense! I'm going to be playing a sectorial, just because i like the space monkeys..

So not much help on list building from me..

This a little one I wrote up with a tag, but a tag makes it pretty restricted..

Jeez you have some firepower with 2xmk12's and a auto cannon.

Mimetism and a supinf, and two snipers.. I like it!

But snipers can be pretty different in infinity given the super heavy terrain

Have had mixed results.

Yeah I found out just how much scenery is required for an Infinity game yesterday. Needless to say my canned table will see me consuming a whole lot more baked beans before it is done.

But the Snipers are more to give the opponent something to think about and look at while the rest of the list / markers go about their business.

If I was to run a Sectorial list, I'd probably create dual link teams featuring Loup Garous and Briscards. But then, I have no wolves unless I add Margot & Duroc...

Some more Ariadna!

The autocannon is a boss. Especially shooting from a camo marker
Wulvers are ok, but unless they're in a link team I'm not sure 2 are needed. They are amazing anti-ninja units though.
SAS are okish. If they find themselves in a decent position they can be useful
Uxia with superior infiltration and 2x Assault pistols is a monster.

The camo metro is probably going to be a bit meh. May I suggest a chasseur with either minelayer (you start the game with a mine already placed) or an adhesive launcher?

Never used foxtrots or loup garu's, so your guess is as good as mine.
Although with the snipers, we have access to Ap and T2 sniper rifles (cateran). Something to consider.

A list I've been considering for 250 points

Everyone is camo'd at the start apart from the spec ops. 8)

Lol baked bean board :) I started one about a year back when we where playing a bit more.
I took every spare box I could find in the house and painted them yellow.. The next stage of the plan was/is to go to bunnings and find some cheap suitable retic or something that would look good as tiny cover (barrel sized) and buy twenty of it, and airbrush them.

Then eventually detail the boxes ;)

Inspired by the pics of this board from the rule books

I have used this line for so many projects...But my baked bean board will be finished because I'm not anticipating doing any detail on it that can't be applied without a sponge / spraycan. Low standards = more success :D

Thanks for the comments ecky. I'll post a revised version a bit later on, and I cant help but feel that a link team will feature.

This statement wins this thread.

I must say the biggest thing I think I learnt from Wolfram running me through a demo was that number of orders is important yes, but not as important as awesome shooting. My little pleb took out SO MUCH STUFF in ARO. I am really thinking of the ALEPH list I like the look of.

I'd suggest running your proposed list (or something close to it) a couple of times. Since it's got quite a diverse range of models and abilities, you should be able to figure out what you like/dont like pretty quick in terms of play style.
And then the list building begins proper :D

And link teams add a whole other level to the game.

This is true, but I've since realised that my list means I pretty much buy two sectorial lists from the start. And it seems a bit odd to buy multiple boxes of 4 so I can run lists only using half of each. Even so, I need to start somewhere... Goddam options

Looking at this, I actually think you're a little too short on orders, Mikey. If you're 'outflanking' with Diomedes not on the table at the start, you've only got 6 orders there, and while that's a fair number at the outset, once you take a couple of casualties, you're in a spot of bother. Ideally, I think you'd be best served by dropping one of either Diomedes, Atalanta or Ajax and spending those points on some Thorakitai to bolster your numbers and hold you back lines (and keep your LT safe). You can also take an engineer Thorakitai, and with a helper-bot, you've got a way to make sure that your guys don't get glued in place or EMP'd (nothing makes Ajax sadder than being frozen in his body...) Other than that, it looks like a solid list - a total (censored) of ODD, which always makes me cry :(
