Weekend is still a bit of a blur... And I hardly drank!

Highlights included playing four Albanians out of the five games, and the other game was against a former Albanian. Despite taking an unskilled Ogre team, I managed to hold my own, by giving and taking four points in the Civil War Trophy.

Next year, I'll be taking down a more serious team, but will still be aiming to have a blast. Well worth the trip, but I think next time I'll take the Monday off as well...

Thanks to Sloth, and all the Albanians, great weekend.

Was great fun guys.

I am in the middle of doing a nice big write up with pics etc etc.

However it is taking some time.

So for now, I have uploaded the results to the Redneck Website.

Check categories Final Results 2014

Also...I forgot to thank him publicly on the announcements.

BIG THANKS to Rob Langford for going out of his way to pick up the Trophies after they had delays. Much appreciated big fella, without you we would not have had such cool trophies for the day :)

So many failed dodges... Pretty much the reason I don't think I can swap to a flat dash team.

If the dash is weak, you don't do anything else.

Unlike, Lizards. 8)

I failed a LOT of dodges with my gutter runners and my rat ogre was great apart from a 4 turn patch of pure fail against Gary's Vampires.

Pretty average luck all through the tournament really with lots of fail thrown in with a few moments of inspired bulls$@t rolling in my favour

Elf Catcher dodged into 1 TZ, dodged into 2 TZ, single dice POW on ball carrier, scattered to him, caught, dodged his way back out.

Jules nearly died right there. :)

By far my best play was against Bruno. A Snotling dodged away from a Chaos Dwarf, dodged away from a Bull Centaur, Dodged away from a Chaos Dwarf, moved once, twice, went for it, went for it to hit a Hobgoblin who had the ball, three dice against (we'll just talk about the rerolled version of the hit) and downed the nasty ball carrier...

On the flip side to my luck, Josh managed 2 GFI's and a dogdge into 2 tackle zones with a bull centaur, pow'ed the gutter runner with the ball only for the ball to bounce onto him and for the bull to catch it in a tackle zone!! That followed by an interception 2 turns later pretty much sumed up my game against him :( A blitz to stop the 1 turn score for the tie was the cherry on top of the poo pie ;)

But you had your own unlikely plays go your way in the previous game.

Thanks to all the guys organising, was a brilliant weekend.

Really happy with all the games played and all my oponents were very understnading of me being rusty as hell on the rules........

Stoked with my results, anbd looking forward to next year.

Suffice to say, id forgotten just how much fun gaming could be.....a return to the fold is now on the cards hehe

Cheers, Ross

Yeah me too. Hadn't done much gaming in the last year. Now more than keen to return in full.
